Job Description

Our client seeks an Administrator to join their team. ResponsibilitiesProcessing of Invoices and writing of orders up to delegated authority. Trackingand inputting of data relating to ongoing Contract costs Assist theContracts/Procurement Manager with evaluation of Tenders and Quick Quote bids.Initially fielding complaints and queries from Contractors and Clients inrelation to Contract and Procurement matters. Assisting theContracts/Procurement Manager with keeping the Contracts and Procurementregister up to date. Assisting the Contracts/Procurement Manager with draftingof Specifications and evaluation of Tender bids. These will mainly be in theform of Cleaning and Grounds Contracts. Offering guidance to Facility andProperty Managers on the development of Quick Quote specifications. Key Skillsand Experience: Essential - Computer Literate and competent with the use of MSWord, Powerpoint, Outlook and Excel. Experience of dealing with Contractors,Clients and members of the public. Administration experience. Good verbal,written and reporting skills. Ability to work independently, is resilient andprioritize work with little supervision Able to work to a high degree ofaccuracy, with good organisational skills Driving Licence - Desirable. Knowledgeof Government Financial Regulations. Previous experience in Procurement andContract Management, including preparation of Tender Specifications andsub-contract documents. Experience of using the Government Procurement Portal(if not, will be required to attend Procurement Training).Ability to addressContractual disputes and difficult client and contractors.
