Job Description

Our client seeks an Administrative Officer to join their AML/CFT Supervisionteam on an 8-month contract Role Profile: In conjunction with the AML/CFTSupervision Division, assist in taking appropriate action to deal withanti-money laundering and countering the financing of terrorism matters,specifically to provide secretariat functions to the ongoing National RiskAssessment (NRA project) taking place currently. Key Responsibilities: Inconjunction with the Head of Division and Senior Managers AML/CFT, as well asother members of the AML/CFT Supervision Division, assist in managing anti-moneylaundering and countering the financing of terrorism (AML/CFT) matters. Thisinvolves working to ensure that the Island meets all relevant internationalstandards in respect of AML/CFT, specifically relating to the NRA, thisincludes: Assisting with the recording and reconciliation of data in respect ofAML/CFT supervision and the NRA; Coordinate meetings and workshop acrosssupervised entities in respect of the NRA; Accurate minute taking in respect ofsuch meetings and workshops; Act as the liaison between the Authority anddifferent stakeholders involved in the NRA; Ensuring there is robust recordkeeping of work undertaken which is filed and organised appropriately; Generaladministrative tasks that may be required within the Division; and Assist in theIsland's response to external AML/CFT evaluations by international authoritiessuch as MONEYVAL where required. Develop and maintain effective relationshipswith other regulatory bodies, professional bodies and law enforcement agenciesexternally. Help ensure internal systems and procedures are adhered to includingany relevant procedures and the Authority's intelligence systems. Comply withthe requirements set out in the Staff Handbook and other operational policy andprocedures issued by the Authority. Work on special ad-hoc projects asidentified. Set an example to staff to maintain and develop a positiveprofessional culture within the Authority. Key Skills and Experience: Effectiveinterpersonal, verbal and written communication skills including minute taking.Strong organisational skills, including accuracy, attention to detail and recordkeeping and filing. Ability to work on their own initiative as well as part of ateam. Ability to provide administrative support as needed. Ability to accuratelyinput data. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. The ability and willingness tolearn and undertake new skills. Maintain a high level of discretion andconfidentiality at all times. Desirable - Educated to GCSE level or above and/orequivalent qualification. Desirable - Experience of working within an officeenvironment and/or as part of a team.
