About the role

Could you support patients through important diagnostic investigations while developing specialist skills within a busy clinical service?

As Assistant Clinical Physiologist within the Cardiorespiratory Service, you’ll work alongside Clinical Physiologists and Associate Practitioners, supporting patients undergoing a range of cardiac investigations. You’ll play an important role in delivering a positive patient experience while helping ensure diagnostic sessions run smoothly and efficiently.

You’ll carry out electrocardiograms (ECGs), fit and remove ambulatory monitoring equipment, support sleep studies, issue nebulisers and consumables, and assist with a variety of patientfacing and administrative tasks. Working closely with colleagues, you’ll contribute to a friendly and supportive service that places patients at the heart of everything it does.

The department is currently open Monday to Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm. Based initially at Nobles Hospital there may be a requirement to cover clinics outside these times and at other sites in response to service needs.
