Job Description
Our client seeks an Assistant Manager (Financial Services, Audit and Assurance)to join their team. Key Responsibilities: Facilitating the completion of auditfield work; Effective management of the audit process with appropriateconsideration of audit risk issues and accounting technical matters; Ensuringcompletion of audits/projects within agreed timescales; Budgeting timeallocations to assignments and explaining variances from budget; Drafting finaldocuments for review by manager and partner; Development and coaching of lessexperienced members of staff; and Working effectively in diverse teams within aninclusive team culture where people are recognised for their contribution. KeySkills & Experience: ACA qualification, or equivalent qualification orexperience. The ability to apply scepticism and challenge during the auditprocess, alongside applying innovative audit techniques such as data analytics.An understanding of the financial services sector and knowledge of currentaccounting standards, with IFRS exposure. Desirable Skills & Experience:Strong written and oral communication skills. An ability to develop effectiveand long-term client relationships.
