are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to work in our Financial Services
centre based in Isle of Man. As part of a growing team the role is technically
challenging, highly rewarding and has great career prospects. As a member of a
growing team, you will: Report to a Manager, Senior Manager or Director/
Partner. Work effectively in an inclusive team culture where people are
recognized for their contribution. Supervise our field teams to successfully
execute audit engagements. Manage client relationships day to day. Mentor and
coach junior members of our team. Help to drive our continuous improvement in
audit methodology and develop new ways of working through innovation and
transformation. Participate in practice management activities, including
facilitation of internal training courses and staff development. Engage with and
support wellbeing activities with the team and the wider Portfolio function.
Support the development of our practice, potentially through facilitation of
internal training courses or staff development. Connect to your skills and
professional experience To qualify for the role, you must have: Hold or be in
the final stages of achieving a relevant professional qualification, e.g., ACA,
ACCA, CPA, CA, ICAS or overseas equivalent. Experience as an external auditor,
preferably with some financial institution or real estate experience. Knowledge
of external or internal auditing techniques (including planning meetings, risk
assessment, audit scoping, devising audit approach, controls testing,
substantive testing and the communication of any findings). Group audit
experience is preferable but not required. Strong interpersonal skills,
including oral/written communication, and team management. Highly motivated
approach, with a proven ability to work on own initiative within a challenging
work environment. Good with organization, planning and coaching skills. For more
