friendly dynamic team. Job Purpose: We are seeking a highly organised Accounts
Supervisor / Bookkeeper to oversee daily financial operations and supervise
bookkeeping tasks for our clients. This role requires strong bookkeeping skills,
attention to detail, and the ability to manage and support junior team members
whilst ensuring financial accuracy and efficiency. Location: Our offices are
centrally located in Douglas, Isle of Man, with flexible working options
available, including both part-time and full-time opportunities. Key
Responsibilities: Supervision: Oversee and support junior accounts and
bookkeeping staff, ensuring that daily financial tasks are performed accurately
and on time. Bookkeeping: Accurately record financial transactions, including
ledger entries, nominal journals, and bank reconciliations. VAT Returns: Prepare
and submit VAT returns, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
Payroll Management: Process Isle of Man payroll using relevant software such as
DPN Software, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Management Accounts: Assist in
the preparation of monthly management accounts and provide financial reporting
for both internal and client purposes. Client Liaison: Communicate with clients
regarding their financial queries and provide support related to bookkeeping and
accounting software. Financial Accuracy: Perform bank reconciliations and
maintain accurate financial records in compliance with company and legal
standards. Software Integration: Implement and manage cloud-based accounting
platforms like QuickBooks Online and Xero, improving client efficiency. Process
Improvement: Identify opportunities for efficiencies in accounting procedures
and recommend or implement software tools to improve processes. Skills &
Qualifications: Proven experience in bookkeeping or account supervision roles.
Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Xero, or other cloud accounting platforms.
Experience with VAT returns and Isle of Man payroll processes. Strong
understanding of financial reporting, management accounts, and bank
reconciliations. Ability to supervise junior staff and ensure accurate and
timely completion of financial tasks. Strong organisational and communication
skills with attention to detail. Adaptable and willing to embrace new accounting
software integrations and technologies. Work Schedule: Flexible working options
