About the role
Could you help create memorable journeys for visitors and residents travelling on one of the Island’s most iconic heritage railways?
As a Conductor on the Manx Electric Railway (MER), you’ll play a key role in delivering a safe, welcoming and enjoyable experience for passengers travelling between Douglas and Ramsey over the 2026 Summer season. From assisting customers and answering enquiries to selling tickets and ensuring journeys run smoothly, you’ll be at the heart of the visitor experience.
You’ll help prepare trams for service, carry out safety checks and work closely with colleagues to support the daytoday operation of the railway. Every day brings something different, with the opportunity to meet people from around the world while showcasing a unique part of the Island’s heritage.
