Job Description

We are looking for a Chippy Manager/Fryer at our Chippy on Bathurst Street. The chippy has been closed for a while and new owner & operators are looking to get it back open to its former glory! Exciting opportunity! As our new Chippy Manager, you'll have a positive mind-set, be a great motivator and love getting stuck in. This means: - Working on the range serving Fish & Chips and other food items cooked to order. - Taking a 'hands on' approach in the production of menu items during service. - Ensuring the quality of food production and presentation is maintained to company standard. - Training and developing the fish and chip shop team. - Monitoring stock levels and working with nominated suppliers to ensure best value. - Having strict control and security of stocks. - Setting, monitoring, and maintaining opening and closing procedures. - Ensuring all policies and procedures are adhered to including health and safety, hygiene, and cleanliness. - Staff management, Cash Handling, Ensuring shutdown and open of chippy is adhered to with help of staff. - Preparing your stations before opening - Creating new experiences and recipes weekly If you think this job role is right for you please email your CV and a covering letter with a desired salary expectation per annum of which you would aim to achieve to [email protected].
