About the role
Take a leading role at the heart of the Isle of Man’s judicial system! As Clerk to the First Deemster/Chancery Team Manager, you'll oversee high level court business, support the First Deemster and other senior permanent and part time judiciary, and coordinate a skilled group responsible for legal proceedings such as complex commercial litigation.
This role offers the chance to bring together your interpersonal strengths, clear communication skills, and legal administration expertise in an environment that values professionalism and precision. You’ll work closely with judges, court users, and colleagues, building strong working relationships while ensuring information is conveyed accurately, confidently, and with care.
You’ll play a central role in shaping court operations and driving service improvements, including the development of modern digital case management systems. Your work will directly support the effective administration of justice, helping to ensure that court processes run smoothly, fairly, and with the highest standards of integrity. Things to note
A standard police check is required for this post, the cost of which will be covered by the Isle of Man Government.
Please note a relocation package is not available for this role.
