Job Description
Sapphire Care is looking to recruit a full-time community support worker to join
our friendly team in the South of the island to help deliver high quality person
centered care. Offering excellent rates of pay and benefits, we are seeking
colleagues to assist our clients with all aspects of personal care. Support the
management of medication through prompting, and / or administering Prepare and
cook meals etc Ensure care plans are implemented and updated in line with
service users needs. Liaise regularly with the Sapphire Cares Management team to
ensure care plan systems are updated in line with any changes in service users
information or care needs. Contribute to the development of the Care Services by
providing new ideas and having a flexible approach to an evolving service. The
ideal colleagues will have QCF/NVQ Health and Social Care Diploma Level 2.
Professional or personal experience of providing care for families, vulnerable
adults and / or children. Able to develop good working relationships with
clients while maintaining appropriate professional boundaries. Able to work
independently and take initiative while working within Sapphire Care policies,
procedures and guidance. Able to demonstrate care and respect for vulnerable
adults and children. Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of
vulnerable adults and children. Able to demonstrate good verbal and written
communication skills. Ability to deal with sensitive personal care issues. An
understanding and ability to apply in own work practice the principles of
equality of opportunity and confidentiality. An understanding of the needs of
carers. A commitment to the objectives and ethos of Sapphire Care Limited. And
have a current driving license, own vehicle and business insurance. For more
