Job Description
Job Overview: As an Overnight Support Worker with 1st Care at Home, you will provide safe, reassuring, and person-centred support to clients in their own homes during the night.
Main Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with evening and bedtime routines.
- Provide toileting and comfort assistance as required.
- Respond promptly to client needs during the night.
- Administer medication support when authorized.
- Monitor any changes in client well-being and ensure accurate care records are completed.
- Report concerns or incidents to the on-call manager.
You should be reliable, calm, and confident working independently, always prioritizing the client’s dignity and confidentiality. Please note that this role is exempt under the Employment (Sex Discrimination) Act 2000.
