We are seeking reliable and professional Casual Security Officers to join our team at the Isle of Man Courts of Justice. This position offers flexibility, making it ideal for individuals looking for varied work opportunities.

Role Responsibilities:

• Monitor access points to the Courts of Justice building.
• Conduct security searches of persons and property prior to entry.
• Perform regular internal and external foot patrols.
• Maintain accurate records and reports on visitor numbers.
• Operate and monitor the building's CCTV systems.
• Identify and respond to disruptive behavior effectively.
• Provide excellent customer service while ensuring safety and security.
• Foster positive relationships with court staff, service users, and clients.

Candidate Profile:

• Professional, reliable, and trustworthy.
• Calm and patient under pressure.
• Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
• Confident in dealing with the public.
• Flexible and available for shift work.
• Team player and able to work independently.
• Previous security experience is desirable; training will be provided.

Training Provided:

• Emergency First Aid at Work
• Automated External Defibrillation (AED)
• Conflict Management and De-escalation
• Fire Marshal Training
• Control and Restraint

Working Hours: Casual, Monday to Friday shifts as required, with weekend on-call opportunities.
