Job Description
Position Overview: Join the Environment & Regeneration Department as a Dilapidation Enforcement Officer and help improve the city's appearance, safety, and amenity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle dangerous structures and unsightly properties using advice, negotiation, and enforcement actions.
- Serve as a key contact for property-related enforcement, collaborating with various stakeholders.
- Support the Council’s town planning functions, including report preparation and reviewing planning applications.
Requirements:
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to interpret legislation and make informed decisions.
