Domestics

Summerhill View Care Home are looking for Domestics to be responsible for undertaking cleaning duties relating to the provision of high quality hygiene and cleanliness. Key Responsibilities include;- Complete routine cleaning tasks in assigned areas. Maintain bedroom and bathroom cleanliness, treating residents with courtesy and respect. Collect and clean dishes after each residents' mealtimes. Maintain care of residents' personal effects. Clean general sitting areas and corridors. To ensure all areas of the laundry, including the laundry processing equipment and linen cupboards, are clean, hygienic and in tidy condition. Ensuring that any and all chemicals used in the laundry room, are kept safely and are replenished, participating in stock checks as required, and to report to the Registered Manager when there is a need to order stocks, to preserve the continuous operation of the laundry service. To sort and wash all household linen and residents' personal clothing in a timely manner, ensuring that all items are processed at the correct temperatures and settings required according to the type of fabric, and to make sure that all items are thoroughly cleansed and stain-free.
