About the role

Following the promotion of the current post holder we are looking to appoint a hard-working, flexible and dedicated Education Support Officer, to play an intrinsic role developing Inclusive practice at Onchan School. This will include working with and supporting a range of children with different needs within our school and work as part of a team at Onchan School which is successfully developing Nurture provision and a range of successful interventions.

Under the direction of the Class Teacher and Inclusion Lead, you will help to remove barriers to learning and offer support to pupils learning in the classroom. Improving access to learning, developing children's social skills and effective play and supporting effective emotional resilience whilst working with other professionals will be key developments within the role and we are excited by the continued development of our AEN team to ensure we have the flexibility to meet the needs of our children.
