Energy Modeller

Smart Energy Solutions, the Isle of Man's leading energy consultant, is seeking an experienced Energy Modeller to join our team. This role involves preparing detailed energy models for various building types, gathering and interpreting facility data, and quantifying the performance of existing systems. The ideal candidate will have expertise with energy modelling software like IESVE, DesignBuilder, and OpenStudio, as well as a strong understanding of HVAC fundamentals and energy conservation technologies. Responsibilities include developing energy-saving schemes, performing lifecycle analysis, and ensuring compliance with industry safety standards. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication, organisational, and analytical skills, along with a background in sustainable building design. A degree in engineering or a related field is required, with at least 7 years of professional experience and relevant certifications such as LEED, BREEAM, or NDEA.
