Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to service requests for both contracted and non-contracted customers.
- Diagnose faults and complete effective repairs through adjustments, cleaning, or part replacements.
- Perform preventative maintenance according to manufacturer guidelines.
- Install new equipment to ensure full customer satisfaction.
- Provide basic user training to minimize operator errors and maximize performance.
- Escalate complex issues as necessary and collaborate to solve unique faults.
- Manage vehicle stock of spare parts and consumables.
- Plan your workload to minimize travel time and maximize productivity.
- Keep customers informed about progress, especially when parts are required.
- Stay updated on product knowledge through manufacturer and in-house training.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Experience in the office equipment or managed print industry.
- Strong electronic and mechanical fault-finding skills.
- Familiarity with devices such as Konica Minolta, Lexmark, or HP; experience with Konica Minolta Production, Epson, Zebra or Datacard is advantageous.
- Good IT knowledge, including device networking and scanning configurations.
- Proven customer-facing experience with a strong service mindset.
- Experience in a performance-driven environment.
- A full UK driving license.
- Professional and presentable approach at all times.
