Job Description
Role Overview: Assist the Finance team in processing sales and purchase ledgers for the group’s 50+ companies across the UK and the Isle of Man.
Key Responsibilities:
- Record payments in cashbooks and input transactions into accounting ledgers.
- Process purchase invoices and credit notes within the ledger system.
- Maintain electronic and paper-based filing for accountancy and statutory documents.
- Prepare and process monthly payment runs for group companies.
- Input approved payments into relevant online banking platforms.
- Conduct aged item reviews of bank and debtor/creditor accounts.
- Reconcile bank accounts and analyze ledgers for accuracy.
- Submit monthly CIS documents and assist in year-end account preparation & tax submissions.
