Finance Director

Our client seeks an Egaming Finance Director to join their team. Role Profile:Our established gaming client with over 300 staff around the globe with licences in the UK, IOM and Curacao operates a B2B & B2C sportsbook, exchange and casino. They look for an experienced Finance Director to join their team in the IOM. (working remotely) The successful candidate will have experience in the gaming industry. This is newly created role as our client wants someone that has a solid understanding of the local legislation for gambling entities and requirements from the GSC. Key Responsibilities:Monthly reporting to directors;Month end and year end process (financial statements, reconciliations);Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls;Oversee the posting of and monthly reconciliation of accounts payable and receivable;Verify commissions payable to service providers;Manage client accounts payables and receivables;Tax reporting;High level of accuracy and attention to detail;Using financial modelling to simulate potential scenarios;Performing financial analysis on the company to predict financial health;Monitoring spending and creating budgets;Preparing company reports for investors;Finding ways to reduce costs and increase profits;Collaborating with management to create funding strategies;Overseeing a company's payroll and bookkeeping system. Key Skills and Experience:Experience supervising, mentoring and coaching junior team-members;Experience with tax compliance and substance requirements;Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Masters degree preferred;Casino and/or Sportsbook operator experience helpful;Thorough knowledge of accounting procedures and IFRS;Experience in managing year-end audit processes;Familiarity with financial accounting statements;Fluency in English - both written and spoken;Relevant certification (e.g. ACCA).
