Finance Officer

An exciting opportunity has become available at the Isle of Man Post Office. We are looking to recruit a detail oriented and experienced Finance professional on a 12-month limited term basis. This role will support and maintain the Treasury function of our Finance department by completion of daily banking and bank reconciliations. Main Responsibilities: Maintaining our purchase system (Laserfiche), ensuring all invoices have an appropriate purchase order, running various weekly reports for external & internal use, preparation of weekly payroll for Payroll Manager, maintaining and completing weekly bank reconciliations, prepare daily banking entries and process once authorised, completing weekly / monthly Reconciliations, time tracker report We are looking for somebody who: Has a minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience in a similar role, has a strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations, has excellent numerical and analytical skills, has a high attention to detail and organisational skills, is experienced in using Microsoft packages, proficiency in Financial software packages such as Navision/SAP, has the ability to work independently and within a team, good verbal and written communication skills.
