Finishing and Pressing Technician

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB: To create and stick to production plan for Finishing department under your supervision. Achieving and surpassing daily Finishing and pressing department targets, ensuring constant improvements are made in your department. Understanding all client's requirements for washing and pressing (Quality and measure). Clearly communicate requirements from office in milling and pressing. Work to constantly improve working process and procedures, communicating all possible improvements with production manager. Ensure housekeeping and file organization for pressing and washing department. Setting up report system from finishing department for all cost accounting requirements for finance department. Operating industrial washing machines and dryers. Undertake garment pressing manually and set up automatic pressing machine. Machinery checks and maintenance. Control the stock for washing material.
