Job Description
Reporting to the Managing Director, the Hard Services Operations Manager will be
responsible for managing a team of service coordinators and tradespeople,
including air conditioning technicians, plumbers, electricians and other skilled
professionals. This role will oversee the delivery of all hard facilities
management services, ensuring compliance, safety, quality and efficiency in all
aspects of service delivery. Manage, lead and develop a team of service
coordinators and skilled tradespeople ensuring efficient scheduling and task
allocation and manage relationships with external suppliers and contractors
ensuring high quality service delivery. Assist in managing budgets for hard
services providing cost effective solutions and controlling expenses. Track and
analyse team performance and service quality providing regular reports to senior
management. Ensure all work is compliant with relevant health and safety
regulations, company policies, industry standards and promoting a strong culture
of safety across all operations. Strong understanding of hard facilities
management services including HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems and general
building maintenance, knowledge of health and safety regulations, compliance
standards and best practices within facilities management. Familiarity with
budget management, cost control and resource allocation. The ideal candidate
will be able to demonstrate strong leadership and team management skills,
excellent organisational and planning abilities with attention to detail,
technical proficiency in HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems and general building
maintenance as well as being proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and
