Head of Compliance – AstroPay Global (IOM) Limited

We are looking for a senior compliance leader for our Isle of Man entity. This role involves holding the R13 Controlled Function and reporting directly to the Board and Group CCO, operating with significant independence.

Core Responsibilities:

• Act as the R13 Controlled Function holder with the local regulator (IOMFSA).
• Own the full compliance framework under the Class 8 licence (payments/e-money).
• Supervise the MLRO and lead the IOM compliance team.
• Serve as the primary contact with IOMFSA.
• Develop policies, procedures, and the Compliance Monitoring Program.
• Conduct board-level reporting and regulatory submissions.

Required Profile:

• 5+ years in financial services compliance in a senior role.
• Deep knowledge of Isle of Man regulatory frameworks (FSA 2008, Rule Book 2016, AML/CFT).
• Hands-on experience with regulators.
• Relevant professional qualification (e.g., ICA Diploma).
• A background in FinTech, payments, or e-money is highly desirable.

Your focus in the first 6 months will be auditing the compliance framework and establishing strong relationships across key stakeholders.
