Kitchen Assistant

Summerhill View Care Home are looking for a Kitchen Assistant to join the team, to be responsible for undertaking food preparation tasks, as directed by the Chef/Head Chef, preparing ingredients and simple dishes. Kitchen Assistants will also be responsible for servicing food to residents. Key Responsibilities include;- - Preparing ingredients for dishes. - Washing and slicing fruit and vegetables. - Cooking ingredients according to directions received by the Chef/Head Chef. - Keeping all pots, pans, and kitchen utensils clean and in order. - Managing store rooms and cold rooms. - Preparation of residents' food trays and trollies. - Maintain high standards of Food Hygiene and Health & Safety. - Cleaning and tidying workstations and equipment.
