Listening Practitioner

Crossroads is seeking a Listening Practitioner to support and advocate for carers.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Listening to and understanding the needs of carers.
• Helping them navigate challenges and access necessary resources.
• Building strong relationships with carers and relevant agencies.
• Understanding key legislation and policies within the social care framework.

Key Qualifications:

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive situations calmly and professionally.
• Clean driving license and access to a vehicle for island-wide meetings.

This is a part-time position (14 hours per week). Experience in social care is preferred, but not essential as training will be provided.
