Managing Director - Facilities Services About the role Our client is seeking a
dynamic and strategic Managing Director to lead their facilities services
company based in the Isle of Man. This position involves steering the strategic
direction, business growth, and operational management of the company, ensuring
the delivery of top-tier facilities management services, including maintenance,
cleaning, security, and support services to a diverse clientele. Key
Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the company's
strategic plan, aligning with its mission and long-term goals. Business
Development: Identify and pursue new market opportunities, building partnerships
to enhance market presence and drive revenue growth. Financial Management:
Oversee financial performance, managing budgeting, forecasting, and financial
reporting to meet company goals. Operational Oversight: Implement cost-effective
management strategies to optimize expenses without compromising service quality.
Team Leadership: Recruit, lead, and develop a high-performing management team,
fostering an inclusive and collaborative work environment. Client Relationship
Management: Maintain and strengthen relationships with key clients, delivering
service excellence and fostering long-term partnerships. Compliance and
Governance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry
standards, promoting a strong culture of health and safety. Sustainability
Initiatives: Drive sustainability initiatives, integrating environmentally
responsible practices into company operations. Cultural Leadership: Shape and
promote a company culture rooted in strong ethics, inclusivity, and integrity to
ensure long-term employee engagement.Knowledge & Experience: Comprehensive
understanding of facilities management practices, including maintenance,
cleaning, security, and support services. Proven experience in a senior
leadership role within facilities management or a related service-oriented
industry. Strong knowledge of strategic planning, business development, and
financial management principles. Extensive experience managing large-scale
operations with a focus on quality control and operational efficiency.
Demonstrable experience in budget management, financial reporting, and driving
cost efficiency. Ability to build and maintain relationships with key clients
and stakeholders.Skills Strategic thinking, leadership, and people management.
Excellent communication skills. Adaptability and a strong focus on customer
service delivery.Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week Benefits: Non-contributory
