Pharmacy Dispensing Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Dispensing Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with pharmacy technicians and under the supervision of the responsible pharmacist to ensure the accurate, safe, and timely dispensing of prescribed medications. Your responsibilities will include selecting, labeling, and dispensing pharmaceutical products according to prescriptions, maintaining Patient Medication Records (PMR), and ensuring compliance with all legal and safety standards. You will also assist with stock control, manage the safe storage of medicines, and support the team in delivering excellent patient care. Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a professional attitude are essential. You should be working towards or have completed an accredited NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) Dispensing Assistant training course and have a good level of IT literacy and numeracy. Experience in a retail environment and handling financial records is desirable but not essential.
