Plant Area Assistant

Job Overview: Riley's Garden Centre is seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic plants person to join the team. Daily duties will include presentation and maintenance of stock, customer service/sales and supporting the plant centre team with a range of duties to ensure excellent retailing standards. The appointed person will have good plant knowledge. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred although training will be provided and a candidate with the right attitude and who is eager to learn may be considered. Duties: Stock maintenance, watering, and display. Customer service and giving quality advice. Quoting and sales in person, via email, and phone. Unloading delivery vehicles. Loading customer vehicles. Sell gardening products while giving relevant advice and link selling. Experience: Horticultural Knowledge. Previous experience in gardening or horticulture. Be reliable and professional. Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively. Ability to communicate clearly in English. A genuine passion for plants and the environment will greatly benefit your success in this role. Working Pattern 4 days in the week and alternate weekends, Monday to Friday 9am until 5pm with a day off in the week, alternate weekends 9am-5pm Sat, 10am-5pm Sun.
