Prison Prescribing Pharmacist - Medicines Optimisation

About the role
Manx Care are seeking a highly motivated, clinically focussed Pharmacist for two days per week to work in the Isle of Man Prison. You will require a prescribing qualification and a knowledge of the main risks and influences in the prison healthcare sector.
The role will include undertaking patient-facing clinics to review patients seeking healthcare for minor ailments and conditions, which do not require review by a medical member of staff, and clinical medication reviews for patients. There will be support on site from medical and nursing colleagues.
The role will also involve supporting the Prison Pharmacy Technician with medication safety audits and governance projects as required.
