Production Chemist FTC

Join our team as a Production Chemist at Astrea Bioseparations Ltd, where your attention to detail and hands-on experience will contribute to the manufacturing of high-quality chromatography products.

This Fixed Term Contract role involves:

• Manufacturing chromatography products, intermediates, and base materials.
• Following established SOPs with precision.
• Recording production data and maintaining documentation.
• Conducting on-line quality control checks.
• Supporting process optimisation and improvement initiatives.
• Maintaining equipment and a clean working environment.

You will also assist in:

• Improving processes to maximize yields.
• Writing and updating SOPs.
• Supporting colleague development.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A strong team-oriented mindset with effective communication skills.
• Excellent organising abilities and attention to detail.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving.
• A degree in a scientific discipline (desirable).
• Experience in regulated manufacturing environments (advantageous).
