Job Description
Overview:
As a Project Manager at IFGL, you will lead cross-functional projects within the Group change portfolio. Your collaboration with colleagues, stakeholders, and third-party partners will be essential in delivering outcomes through structured project management and Agile delivery practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead projects from initiation to implementation, ensuring business value delivery on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
- Manage a diverse portfolio of change, including digital initiatives, regulatory programs, operational improvements, and new market opportunities.
- Apply strong project governance and Agile disciplines, including planning, sprint oversight, issue and risk management, reporting, and budget control.
- Partner with stakeholders to define requirements, prioritize deliveries, and ensure solutions meet customer, business, and regulatory needs.
- Support iterative delivery through effective scope management, testing coordination, release readiness, and continuous improvement.
- Facilitate clear and consistent communication across project teams and stakeholders to maintain alignment and momentum.
- Assist teams in adapting to change by embedding new ways of working and ensuring successful adoption.
Requirements:
- Minimum of three years’ project management experience, preferably in Financial Services (not essential).
- Hands-on experience in Agile and Scrum environments, particularly in delivering digital, technology, or business change initiatives.
- Strong project delivery skills including planning, governance, issue and risk management, and budget oversight.
- Confidence in leading complex projects or multiple workstreams simultaneously, balancing pace, control, and quality.
- Ability to build trusted relationships with teams, stakeholders, and third-party providers.
- Excellent facilitation, presentation, and report-writing skills.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to guide teams through ambiguity and support continuous improvement.
- Strong knowledge of Agile and Scrum principles; PRINCE2, Scrum certification, or equivalent project management qualifications are desirable.
- Willingness to travel as needed for projects, including potential overseas travel.
