Job Description
Our client seeks a Project Officer to join their team. Role Profile: Due to
continued expansion our client is looking for a Project Officer to join the
projects team. In this role you will assist the Project Manager in driving the
strategy by supporting projects from start to finish, embedding best practices,
and ensuring accountability. This role involves working on a variety of projects
to achieve the strategic goals, including technology development, process
improvement, and implementation of new systems. Key Responsibilities: Assist in
developing project scopes and objectives. Support the management of multiple
projects, ensuring stakeholders are regularly updated on progress. Translate
business requirements into clear, defined milestones with delivery dates. Create
and manage timelines of deliverables to ensure changes are implemented by agreed
deadlines. Update process flows and documentation as needed. Assist in risk
management on individual projects. Coordinate with project managers to deliver
on multiple strategic initiatives. Support various projects and deliver
solutions in cooperation with the Chief Operating Officer, Chief Technology
Officer, and other relevant staff. Provide regular reports to senior management
for ongoing projects, detailing progress and key timelines. Assist with any
remedial work post project implementation. Monitor project performance using
appropriate tools and techniques. Ensure all projects adhere to company
methodologies and standards. Facilitate project meetings and provide minutes and
action items. Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans,
status reports, and risk logs. Ensure resource availability and allocation for
project tasks. Support the development and implementation of project management
tools and techniques. Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and
provide project updates. Conduct post-project evaluations to identify areas for
improvement. Assist in the preparation of project proposals, budgets, and
resource planning. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all
project activities. Project involvement may include but not limited to software
implementation, software enhancement, process optimization, data remediation and
AI integration. Key Skills and Qualifications: 5 GCSEs or equivalent at grade C
or above. Project Management qualification desirable but not essential. PMP,
Prince2 or Google Project Management Certification. Previous experience in
project coordination or a similar role. Coding Experience preferable.
Familiarity with Project Management Software (Clickup or similar)Attention to
detail. Excellent communication. Excellent Stakeholder Management. Able to work
on their own initiative. Strong analytical and problem-solving. Proficient with
