About the role

Join the Department of Education, Sport and Culture as a Relief School Cleaner where you will provide an effective and thorough cleaning service to the Island’s schools and their users.

Day to day, you’ll carry out various duties including cleaning, sweeping, removing litter receptacles for disposal and using mechanical cleaning equipment. You will be a frontline representative at the sites, therefore we are looking for someone who can interact and communicate with both members of the public, students and staff in a friendly and professional manner.

Please note that the usual working hours will be between 15:30 and 18:00 on Monday to Friday. We will need you to be available at these times if you would like to be considered for this role.
