Job Description

Our client seeks a Responsible Gambling Officer to join their team. The hourswill be 35 per week between 8 am and 9 pm, this also includes weekends / bankholidays on a rota basis. Key Responsibilities:Conducting in depth analysis ofcustomer behaviours and activity.Identifying and escalating high risk accountsat the earliest opportunity.Prevent and detect multi-accounting.ResponsibleGambling Investigations - Conducting contact with customers to help ensure thatthey are gambling responsibly. Discussing both customer account behaviours andthe facilities we provide to help customers stay in control. Contact withcustomers may be via email, Live-Chat or telephone.AffordabilityTesting.Performing Enhanced Customer Due Diligence on members in line with AMLand CFT requirements when escalated from the Member Support/Operationalteam.Resolution of customer queries and requests.Resolution of any escalatedcustomer queries and requests, escalated from the Member Support/Operationalteam.Maintaining proper documentation and record keeping on a timely basis. KeySkills and Experience:Minimum 5 GCSE's to include Maths and English at grade Cor above.Experience working in a responsible gambling, risk, regulation,compliance type role desirable however full training will be provided.Stronganalytical skills along with organisational skills are essential in order tobalance workload and meet deadlines.Ability to learn and understand, Governanceand compliance philosophies, policy and management practices.Ability to learnand take on knowledge of Isle of Man Gambling Supervision Commission and UnitedKingdom Gambling Commission's and Jersey Gambling Commission legislation.Thisrole may suit an A-level school leaver, who possesses the ability to pick up newtasks and training at pace.The Responsible Gambling team work under shift-rotapatterns, therefore the candidate must have the ability to cover, as required,evening and weekend working including bank holidays, to the equivalent of 35hour per week over 5 days. Innovative and strategic thinking.Well-developedcommunication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with difficultcustomers. Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Soundinterpersonal and negotiation skills.
