About the role
Join our team as a Senior Education Support Officer at Bunscoill Rhumsaa!
We are looking for someone who is adaptable and can work with pupils across all age groups and with a range of special needs, to be part of a large, supportive and friendly team.
Within this role you will plan intervention activities and learning for small groups, working with pupils who may not be able to access a mainstream classroom full time. This will involve working closely with other Education Support Staff, the class Teacher and the Specialised Provision Centre, as well as building good relationships with parents/carers. You will also support pupils in their Individualised Education Plan and ensure health care and behaviour plans are adhered to.
This role will provide you with the opportunity to work with pupils in a specialised area of education, building upon your knowledge and experience in the area of special needs education support. If this sounds like a role you’d enjoy, we’d love to hear from you!
