Tax Manager

Our client seeks a Tax Manager to join their team. Key Responsibilities: Provide assistance to the Private Client Accounts Team with the review of VAT calculations when required Review property holding company tax computations and prepare UK Corporation tax returns Assist the Client Accounting Director to manage the IOM tax return process to ensure all returns are being completed consistently and filed on time Assist with corporation tax queries from administrators and/or accountants Completion or review of CIS returns Provide assistance for any VAT inspections Ensuring that service standards and company policies/procedures are adhered to Using judgment to highlight and report significant matters that require attention by senior management Develop new business with other group offices where certain tax compliance work could be done in-house. Key Skills and Experience: A professional qualification (e.g. CTA, ACCA) or working towards one A minimum of 2-3 years' experience in a similar environment A high level of accuracy and attention to detail Able to meet deadlines whilst working under pressure and using own initiative Good inter-personal skills Good awareness of AML/CFT,CSP/TSP and other relevant regulations and legislation.
