Temp Post Persons

Isle of Man Post Office are looking for reliable and enthusiastic Temporary Post Persons to help keep mail moving within the communities we serve. Part-Time and Full-Time roles are available at all locations (Douglas, South and North).

We offer varying work patterns on a limited term contract until June 2027. All roles will involve weekend working on a Saturday and/or Sunday, which can be on an alternate basis.

Your application must specify which role(s) you are interested in, noting either full-time or part-time and your working hours availability.

If you enjoy being out and about, meeting people and doing practical, active work in all weathers, this could be the role for you. You’ll be part of a friendly team delivering an essential service to the Island.

What you’ll do:

• Deliver, collect and sort mail items
• Drive delivery vans and use handheld tech
• Engage with customers and represent the service with pride
• Work safely, accurately and as part of a great team

What you’ll need:

• A full, clean driving licence (not on R plates)
• A cando attitude and good customer skills
• Reliability, flexibility and common sense
• Confidence working on your own and following instructions
