Temporary Hotel Receptionist. Pay: Up to £12 per hour depending on Experience!
The Ramsey Park Hotel is a contemporary hotel in Ramsey. We proudly opened our
doors in 2012 following an extensive renovation project, emerging as a highly
contemporary yet elegant Venue suitable for Weddings, Private Events,
Conferencing, and leisure breaks away. At the hub of the hotel, you can find
Lakeside Bar and Restaurant both of which are full of charm and character,
offering a friendly atmosphere serving a wonderful selection of delicious drinks
and scrumptious food. We are on the lookout for a Temporary Hotel Receptionist
to give our guests the best welcome possible! Responsibilities: Attend to
visitors, dealing with inquiries on the phone and face to face, and booking in
Hotel Reservations on the Hotel program Rezlynx. Supply information regarding
the organization to the general public, clients, and customers. Main Job Tasks
and Responsibilities Answer telephone, screen, and direct calls. Take and relay
messages. Provide information to callers. Greet persons entering the hotel.
Direct persons to correct destination. Deal with queries from the public and
customers. Monitor visitor access and maintain security awareness. Book hotel
reservations on Opera software using the booking form. Control inventory
relevant to the reception area and communicate to the Manager when inventory is
low. Perform end/beginning day duties. Provide general administrative and
clerical support. Prepare correspondence and documents. Receive and sort mail
and deliveries. Maintain restaurant diary. Direct Clients attending meetings and
organize catering if required. Monitor and maintain office equipment. Tidy and
maintain the reception area. AOB as may be required. Requirements: Previous
experience of working in a Hotel reception role is preferable but not essential.
1 year of administration experience essential. Knowledge of catering practices
preferred. Working shifts - [7:00am to 3:15pm] [Mid-shift] [2:45pm to 11:15pm].
Availability to work weekends is essential. Benefits: Discounted or free food.
