Unlimited Underwriter

IFGL is looking for an experienced life insurance underwriter to join our Underwriting team. In this role, you will assess complex risks and contribute to developing underwriting standards.

Main Responsibilities:

• Assess life insurance applications and claims, including complex cases.
• Support the development of underwriting philosophy and governance standards.
• Contribute to process improvements within underwriting and claims.
• Build relationships with reinsurers and stakeholders through effective communication.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 7 years of underwriting experience in individual protection or life assurance.
• Proven authority with complex and high-value cases.
• Strong knowledge of life assurance products and risk assessment.
• Excellent analytical skills and commercial awareness.
• Professional qualifications such as ACII or Dip CII are advantageous.
