Sapphire Care are seeking a part-­time cook to join our friendly team to preparehome cooked meals for our residents. Duties and Responsibilities: Adhering toHealth and Safety guidelines regarding the use of equipment, handling hot itemsetc. Preparing and cooking meals for the residents in the home. With our HeadCook, planning and delivering a 4­week seasonal menu, ensuring resident choice /dietary needs are met: Including but not exhaustive to incorporate. medicalconditions (such as diabetes), allergen avoidance, preference, choke hazard.Providing stock order requests to the Manager / Managing Director to facilitatemonthly ordering. Ensuring that the resident's needs and wishes are met •Working with other health and social care professionals to provide holisticcare. Recording and reporting essential information such as food servingtemperatures, cleaning undertaken etc. Maintaining cleanliness of kitchen andstore room to meet requirements of Better Food Better Business food diary.Giving feedback to the Management team. Supporting residents in the dining roomto eat and drink if required, e.g. ensuring food is presented well, the residenthas the correct utensils to eat their meals.
