Accountant

A great opportunity for a qualified or qualified by experienced accountant on a part-time basis (4 days per week and must include a Friday and ideally 09:30 - 16:30 but flexible on hours if needed) to join a client of ours who owns and develops commercial estates. This role has come about due to the expansion of their reporting requirements and would ideally like someone who is proficient in SAGE50. The role will cover the following: Preparation of Financial Statements for Isle of Man companies. Preparation of quarterly management accounts including consolidations. Preparation of budgets and forecasts including variance analysis. Cash forecasting with variance analysis. Oversight of intercompany loans and debtors/creditors. Preparation of VAT returns. Preparation of year end accounts. Audit packs and liaison with auditors, including audit planning. Wages preparation including year-end submissions. Statutory returns. Ad hoc projects for Directors.
