Job Description
Our client seeks a Hard Services Operations Manager to join their team. Role
Profile: This role will be responsible for managing a team of service
coordinators and tradespeople, including air conditioning technicians, plumbers,
electricians and other skilled professionals. This role will oversee the
delivery of all hard facilities management services, ensuring compliance,
safety, quality and efficiency in all aspects of service delivery. Key
Responsibilities: Manage, lead and develop a team of service coordinators and
skilled tradespeople ensuring efficient scheduling and task allocation.
Overseeing and coordinating all areas of hard service delivery including but not
limited to HVAC, plumbing, electrical maintenance and repairs. Develop and
implement operational plans to ensure effective service delivery, meeting
contractual obligations and KPIs. Ensuring all work is compliant with relevant
health and safety regulations, company policies, industry standards and
promoting a strong culture of safety across all operations. Serve as the primary
point of contact for clients regarding hard services. Track and analyse team
performance and service quality providing regular reports to senior management.
Manage relationships with external suppliers and contractors ensuring high
quality service delivery. Assist in managing budgets for hard services providing
cost effective solutions and controlling expenses. Provide technical guidance
and support to the wider team, troubleshoot complex issue to ensure timely
resolution. Key Skills & Experience: A relevant qualification in engineering,
facilities management or related field is preferred. Professional certifications
in HVAC, electrical, plumbing or facilities are advantageous. Proven experience
in an operational management role within the facilities management sector.
Demonstrable experience in leading and managing multidisciplinary teams. Track
record of delivering high quality service in a client facing environment and
managing client relationships effectively. Demonstrate strong leadership and
team management skills. Excellent organisational and planning abilities with
attention to detail, Technical proficiency in HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems
and general building maintenance Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and
