Job Title: Junior Line Cook. Location: Noa Market Hall, Old Market Hall,
Harbourside. Hours: Flexible with at least one weekend day required About Us:
Located harbourside in a beautifully renovated Victorian market hall, our BIG
Brunch Café is the busiest of our sourdough cafés. We're passionate about
fresh, quality food and creating a vibrant brunch experience. We are looking for
a Junior Line Cook who's excited to begin their culinary journey and learn the
ropes in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: * Train on our pancake
and porridge station, becoming proficient in preparing these dishes to our
cafe's standards. * Assist with kitchen prep, including chopping, measuring, and
organizing ingredients for daily service. * Ensure cleanliness and organization
of the kitchen workspace, following food safety protocols. * Support the kitchen
team during service, taking direction and jumping in wherever needed. * Learn
various kitchen techniques and "tricks of the trade" to develop your culinary
skills. Who You Are: * A passionate foodie at the start of your kitchen career,
eager to learn and grow. * Comfortable working in a high-energy, fast-paced cafe
environment. * Flexible and available to commit to at least one weekend day each
week. * A quick learner who's organized and detail-oriented. * A strong team
