Kitchen Assistants

Summerhill View Care Home are looking for Kitchen Assistants to be responsible for undertaking food preparation tasks, as directed by the Chef/Head Chef, preparing ingredients and simple dishes. Kitchen Assistants will also be responsible for servicing the food to residents. Key Responsibilities include;- Preparing ingredients for dishes. Washing and slicing fruit and vegetables. Cooking ingredients according to directions received from the Chef/Head Chef. Keeping all pots, pans and kitchen utensils clean and in order. Managing store rooms and cold rooms. Preparation of residents' food trays and trollies. Maintain high standards of Food Hygiene and Health and Safety. Cleaning and tidying workstations and equipment.
